The Okotoks Raiders started slow, with the Eclipse scoring the first 2 goals, and bouncing a few off the posts. The Jr A provincial championships are underway, with the Raiders winning the first game in the series 13-9. Game 2 will be played at Centennial arena in Okotoks on Friday the 5th, at  8pm.

The Edmonton Eclipse have won their series against the Calgary Mountaineers to win the right to play the Raiders for the provincial Jr A championship. Because the Raiders are hosting the Minto cup this year, Both the Eclipse and the Raiders are guarenteed a spot in the national championships.

Buoyed by their victory in game 3, the Miners came out strong and led the Raiders 5-4 after one period of play.
